Near Mâcon, at the outskirts of the quaint village of Fuissé – amid the famous Pouilly vineyards – this charming B&B with its 16th century masonry walls, cobblestone floors, giant timber beams and loads of artifacts will charm you from the moment you arrive. Sit in the patio and enjoy a cool glass of Saint-Véran, while taking in the view of the picturesque garden with its own river and goldfish pond. Relax in the private salon upstairs, read a book, play a game of chess, or listen to one of the guests playing the piano… before heading to your luxurious suite or spacious room – each one of them tastefully decorated – where you sleep in a heavenly bed far away from passing traffic and street noise. In the morning, enjoy the rich breakfast buffet prepared with love and care by Amélie, before going out to explore the patrimony of the southern Bourgone region with its legendary Solutré rock. In the evening, sit down for a succulent Repas du Terroir, especially prepared by the resident master chef. And don’t forget to ask the domain’s owner; Philippe, to let you taste his fabulous wines. This is the one stay you won’t forget!
One word - STUNNING!
The owner, Philippe welcomed us and nothing was too much trouble.
We sat drinking their wine in the warm sunshine, playing Scrabble and were waited on.
The room we stayed in was bright and airy, clean and very tastefully done.
A gorgeous array of breakfast foods this morning. No detail was left out.
We would HIGHLY recommend staying here and would definitely come again.
Parfait! ❤️🇫🇷🥂
After our wedding in Chasselas we were looking for a stay for one night to relax. La domaine la source des Fees was the perfect place. The owner Philippe and his entourage were so lovely and nice to us - we felt like home from the very first moment. The room and the garden are just amazing and everything is done with love. We will come back for sure - thank you very much for making our first day as a married couple so special!
We spent just one night here and it was perfect - beautiful house and gardens, comfortable room, great evening meal and a perfect host in Philippe who was very friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend!
We stopped off here on the way down to the Alps. The hotel is lovely, with rooms arranged as suites (we had three linked rooms and a bathroom). Big rooms, artfully decorated. Very good wine (as you might expect). We ate together with other guests at the big table - lovely food (check in advance what they are cooking that night as they do a 3 course meal for everyone).
