Kaskazi Boutique Beach House is located on Msambweni beach approx 45 min taxi drive from the more tourist in fested Diani Beach. Kaskazi is a paradise for relaxation and taste of your own private luxury resort. Omari and his staff will do their absolutely best that you feel welcome and will take care of you the best possible way. The property has a large pool surrounded by a huge garden and by opening the garden gate you are practically on the beach (you will have the beach for your self more or less). The property also host several peacocks, monkeys and a turtle. And when the sun goes down the sweet bushbabies will enter the trees. Kaskazi Boutique Beach House is the place where you will feel special in your own private paradise. The house chef makes superior dishes and we recomend that you kindly ask if they can make you pizza on the outside wooden fire pizza owen. Its a treat. And another thing, ask Omari for a visit to the local village. It will be a nice walk meeting smiling local people.

Thanks to this wonderful place and staff, we had the best time between the palms at the garden beach paradise only 25 minutes away from Diani. From here you can book day trips, safaris or just let you relax by the pool or beach. We got served tasty food and the service was excellent done by the friendly staff.
The garden, poolside and are are so amazing beautiful. The room was nice and clean.
I Recommend this lovely place. It's possible to rent the hole house (12 pax) if u need more than a room. They provide different dining areas at the cliff, bonfire, outside pizza Owen, huge garden and a lovely tropical feeling !!!

We spent 9 days in this breathtaking place. No matter how many pictures you look at, they can't really give the place justice at all. It is huge, beautiful and amazing.

What makes this place really special, is the staff. They made our stay perfect. Everything was taken care of in a really smooth way, and you can tell that they have a lot of experience. Omari organized our safari, and on safari departure day the chef made us a really early breakfast. When we came back he greeted us with fresh juice. They always adapted to our needs and did way more than we had expected. You could also tell the communicated very well.

We spent days buy the pool, and Mohammed made sure we got refreshments. And the guard was making sure we felt safe. And the food was so good! We had fresh fruits every day, Katana really knew what he was doing.

The monkeys, peacocks, turtle and of course Dolly made the garden an exciting place, there is always something happening.

The distance to the ocean is as short as it can be, and around 4-5 pm it's perfect to go for a swim. Also, we walked to the village one day, took us about half an hour each way.

Omari also organized a safe airport transfer for us, which we appreciated.

All in all, this is a place I can absolutely recommend. The service is beyond what you can dream of, and the Kaskazi house is perfect in so many ways.

Just for practical reasons: no wifi, water pressure is best in the late evening, remember to but some tip in the "tip box" in the living room, no air-conditioning

What a treat! Our expectationes were high and we were not disappointed. From the very first moment when we were welcomed by owners and staff, we felt like"special" guests, but also like friends. Our room nr.1 was beautiful and spacious. The food was excellent and always served outside with a magnificent view of garden, pool, beach and ocean. The morning swim in the ocean and in the pool , the following pre-breakfast coffee in the shade-heaven on earth! We very much appriciated the owners and staffs introduction to local, Kenyan and African culture . The visits to school, village,Sunday marked etc.is something that will stay in our mind for a long time. The visit to the slave-cave was also a learning experience. We also spent 4 nights at Saruni Lodge in Masai Mara -fantastic! Then back to Kaskazi for another great week. After a winter-week in Norway we are surely longing back!

Our family of four stayed at Kaskazi Boutique Beach House for 11 days during Christmas and New Year 2013/2014 and we had a fantastic time. This is a truly unique place. The location is superb if you want to discover Kenya outside the busy tourist places. It is a small, authentic and beautifully decorated hotel with a large, wonderful garden, with palm threes, peacocks, a relaxing pool area and a stunning view of the Indian Ocean. In addition, what really makes this hotel special is the wonderful staff. They did everything in their power to make our stay a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The owners of the hotel, Harriet and Eilif, gladly share their extensive knowledge about Africa and are available to ensure that the guests have a wonderful time. We really appreciated their hospitality and their advice on how to get the most out of the stay. Among the best experiences of our trip to Kenya, apart from a fantastic visit to Masai Mara, was the bicycle trip with the Kaskazi manager Omari to the near by village and our visit to the local school, organised by Kaskazi. The staff also prepared at fantastic New Years celebration for the guests, with a nice outdoor dinner followed by champagne and bonfire at the beach. A stay at the Kaskazi Boutique Beach House is really good value for money and something we are very happy that we got the chance to experience. Thank you Kaskazi for a wonderful stay!
