We visited during Holi long weekend. Will recommend this nice resort. They have scattered rooms in 4 different categories.
We stayed one night at Tiger Den room which is top category, very spacious rooms at middle of the resort with private pool access for 6 of the rooms for this category and common pantry to cook and refrigerate etc.
Another night we stayed at Riverview rooms (river view from room itself) and balcony area to watch the Kosi river flowing right next to it and night/early morning very cool, you might need pullover in the month of March/April. Though rooms were very basic infrastructure and decor can be improved.
One riverview restaurant for buffet meals and another open air riverside restaurant where you can get your own drinks but at additional charge BBQ, Mocktails, Hookah etc are available with complimentary live music.
The best part of the resort is 500m-1 Km long Kosi river open access where you can have fun (take all precautions) with swings facing towards it, selfie point. Big lawn to play cricket, football and separate area for volleyball, TT, carrom, chess etc. 2nd common pool for everyone. Also horse-riding available at extra cost.
Service was good, staff very helpful, however slight improvement required in food and amenities in room with better mini-refrigerator. Rest everything was fine.
Holi arrangements were nice with DJ and snacks. But they should also do Holika Dahan program before Holi.
Enjoy and visit this resort with your friends and families.
Hey Guys!! This is a fabulous place. With river, mountain, forest, lawns, activity area, restaurant, spa, swimming pool... The vicinity is just awesome. Rooms are good with all facilities n food is delicious.
Anything that can describe this place named "RIVERSIDE BY AAHMA" in simply one word is Phenomenon. I love travelling but due to pandemic situation (Covid19) I didn't go for the year 2020. The new year 2021 brought the hope that now the things may get better and we all may continue to live life as before. The first month of year 2021 was about to get over and the things were better than before. I thought of visiting the land of Gods - Uttrakhand. After looking for around thousand of options, I opted for Riverside by Aahma. I read about this place- crossing the river, surrounded by mountains, birds chirping all around and chilled wind blowing. It calls for un wind the self and explore the place. I visited this place and was simply amazed with the beauty. The property is wide spread across 21 Acres, has private areas/rooms, pools, play area, swings, bonfires area along with open tandoors and restaurant serving variety of cuisines. I can't believe that they do farming and uses fresh veggies, fruits etc. It further enhances the tastes of food there. Unlike other places, people here serves with love & humble to the core. Indeed the service is excellent. The place brought me close to the nature as I enjoyed listening to sound of river at the mid of night, looking at birds or gazing sky. This place is at the peak of luxury combines with goodness of nature and finest services. The rooms are grand, I stay at Tiger Dan (private rooms) with pools in front. Had the chance to ride the best Horse name Pitbull retired from Race Course, Delhi. Loved the overall experience of my stay. Special thanks to Chef and other staff who serve us with the best. Finest place to visit in Uttrakhand as this place soothes mind and soul, you be alone or with family.
One of my best experiences at a riverside resort was with Aahma. They have a huge stretch of land with no obstruction to the river and mountains as a backdrop. And that's not it, the resort is located within Jim Corbett National Park.
I stayed at the Tiger Den suites which are spacious, comfortable with a private swimming pool for the suites. All meals served were fresh with vegetables plucked from the farm within the property. I miss the views and lush green lawns at the property. See you again in the summers :)
This is a riverside resort and is one of the biggest resorts having an approx 1 km river side view. The property is really huge and nature friendly. Stayed in Tiger's Den and totally loved the rooms which are near the swimming pool. The rooms are very spacious, neat and clean and interiors are classy. Also, their restaurant serves really fresh and delicious food. The staff here is very sweet, friendly and humble. They even have horse riding and one would love the bonfire in the evening here. They have live music, outdoor games and much more. My stay here was worth my time. Definitely would suggest if you are travelling to Jim Corbett.
