My sister organised her son’s wedding celebrations at infinity resort at Corbett. From the word go with a pool side manjha overlooking the Kosi river to the culmination of the event at a beautifully curetted Chinese tea. ceremony the resort provided the perfect environment hospitality food and ambience. The place is in sync with nature with graceful buildings, an oldtime elegance and a convenient location. The gol ghar with a central fireplace and deck overlooking the river forms a cosy peaceful place for meals. A short walk steps down to the river with a gym and spa at the landing. Perfect resort to stay for a trip to Corbett.
The rooms are big, food is awesome and it is value for money.. however bathroom is not great, no internet in the property, no liquor license, swimming pool water is green and dirty, the spa is not in house but contracted and the price chart differs... The river view is decent.
We visited Corbett NP is Mar/Apr this year and stayed at Infinity Resorts for covering outer ranges of the park. The resort is located far enough to avoid town crowd but close enough to the main ranges of Bijrani and Jhirna.
We stayed at the resort for total of 3 nights. Initially we were put up in a room on the ground floor. However since the room was on the pathway to the dining area and hence prone to noise from guests passing by it, we requested another room. The resort management was considerate and moved us on the 1st floor, just above the first room. Advantage of first floor is that it also offers good views of Kosi river and the swimming pool.
The room itself was sufficiently large with an attached balcony and a bathroom. It offered all the amenities one would expect like tea/coffee kit, optional mini fridge, etc. The rooms are well connected to other recreational areas in the property. There’s enough open space for kids to roam around too - in fact this was the reason my travel agent recommended it over others.
Dining area is situated on one side and is a nicely done hall that opens to a big verandah that oversees Kosi river. One can also take stairs to the bank itself. The food was good, nothing extraordinary as some reviews say, but again it’s a matter of personal taste. We could never taste breakfast here due to morning safaris, but the hotel was helpful in packing sandwiches and fruits for us everyday.
Overall we had a pleasant experience and wouldn’t mind visiting it again.
Last weekend we stayed in Infinity resorts Jim Corbett, though the property is huge and green with full of Mango tree gardens. But the quality of rooms are not good. Stay needs to see more option for safari and other alternatives for engagement for family. Swimming pool is dirty and water had excess of chlorine.
This was my first trip to JIM Corbett . And Infinity Resorts met my expectation 100 % .
Overall a very good experience . We were 10 pax and had lot of fun and activities.
Let me summarize in Points.
1. Food - Very Very Delicious , aromatic and had a good options to choose from.
2. Rooms- Absolutely neat and clean.
3. Service - Service was good both Room service and House keeping .
4. Ambience - Such a lovely look outside your room . Greenery all over and a river flowing outside . Absolutely scenic .
Apart from above - there are whole lot of free activities like carrom , TT , Cricket , Chess , Swimming pool .
We are planning to go again .
Infinity Resort is a must visit property. Every penny is worth for the facilities they provide.
Thanks,
