We stayed here one night and decided to move on due to construction works being carried out on the premises.
The Manager was upfront about the works and said we could leave any time.
Having said that we liked Seaside Huts a lot. Nice room with comfy bed with mozzie net, good shower outside and well functioning AC.
Pool is small and reasonably cool with a few recliners and 1 beach umbrella which has seen better days.
The outlook is pleasing ss you can see out across the water to Mt. Agung but no beach here, just large flat rocks and seaweed. For surfers there is a nice long break out about 70 meters from shore but it did not look big.
The restaurant only serves breakfast and is included in the room cost. The choices on the menu were very good with a mix of Indo and Western options.
The Motel is quite of the beaten track and hard to find. It is a 20 minute walk to Mushroom bay.
If you don't mind the sound of construction works then this a very good place to stay. They are building more bungalows so it should be even more appealing in the future.
Cheers, Zac.

We booked a garden view room for 5 nights but regretted not going for a sea view room! The staff are really friendly and helpful, they arranged our transfers to and from the island, a scooter for 4 days and a snorkeling trip all at the best prices available on the island so my advice would be to allow them to sort anything you would like to do whilst on Lembongan rather than haggle with the street sellers.

The room features a king size bed with mosquito net, a recessed sofa area we used for storing our suitcases, a fridge and some further storage area with coat hangers. A hair drier was available on request which we were able to keep for the duration of our stay. The bathroom area is outdoor but perfectly private at the same time.

The garden area is tranquil albeit for the sound of roosters nearby who seem to have a broken internal alarm clock, with some of them roosting at 3am! The roosters don't belong to the hotel so unfortunately there's not a lot they can do about it! My only other minor gripe was the shower temperature being difficult to control, it would go hot and then cold without any input but only some of the time.

The pool area is nice with a great view out to sea and one of the highlights for me was the breakfast, they do a delicious mie goreng and their orange juice is fresh and tasty served with bamboo straws.

I would definitely stay at SSH again and would recommend anyone else to do so and essentially arrange your holiday itienary through them, anything you book with them is payable at the end of the trip, so if you decide to have a scooter for an extra day its no problem. The value for money is incredible.

Thanks for such an amazing stay Seaside Huts.

We loved Seaside huts in Tamarind bay. It’s ticked all the boxes for us :

Beautiful and comfortable cottages - there are 7 in total. 3 are right at the pool area overlooking the ocean and 4 are a short walk up the path and set in the garden.

We opted for a sea facing unit and hearing the waves at night was lovely. Lovely firm beds and outdoor bathrooms. New Ac’s and bar fridges.

Koming one of the family members who owns the units arranged a local gentlemen called GIddie to take us out snorkeling or his boat. He was extremely competent in rough sea conditions and ensured our safety while seeking a good spot for snorkeling. He took us to Crystal bay, Gamut bay and Mangrove dive spot. Unfortunately we had to turn back from Manta bay due to the sea conditions. An excellent recommendation by Koming.

We were also able to hire scooters through the on site team. For the evenings when we didn’t want to be on scooters a lot of the local restaurants do a pick up service, which Koming also arranged.

Lembongan certainly knows how to look after guests.

Whilst the beach isn’t really a swimming beach - Tamarind bay is nice and quiet. If one goes down the stairs onto the beach area and turns right and takes a 3 min walk - in the corner is a great spot for swimming near the rocks. As with most areas in Lembongan be aware of the currents.

A good local eating spot 20 m away is the Warang above Tamarind bay divers. Go down to beach and turn right - they are 2 properties down.

My husband rated the massages at Koji which is 5 min walk down the road to the main part of town highly.

We stayed at the seaside Huts for 4 nights and will definetly be back one day! The staff there were extremely welcoming and helpful. Our stay was stress free and pleasent. The staff were more than happy to organise things such as scooter hire with helmets, booked restaurants for dinner with shuttle pick up, snorkelling tour and return ferries. The villa was very clean and the pool was big enough for the amount of guests staying. To top it off our villa was facing the beach and at night you can hear the lovely ocean sounds. To ensure you have a villa with an ocean view request villa 1,2 or 3.
