Absolutely disgusting and not fit to be described as a hotel... we really plunged the depths here and would advise anyone to steer well clear.
Broken bathroom equipment, ants in the beds, no flushing water, internet not working, water in the shower eternally blocked, putrid stuffy smell in the bedrooms and when I lamented to the so called Italian manger.. he wanted an argument 🤥. Made It clear he couldn’t be bothered and the needs of the customer were irrelevant. When I told him the hotel was a dump he replied that the customer could go and get lost. I refused to pay the agreed price and said he could like it or lump it.
AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs.. simply awful and wouldn’t send my worst enemy there 💩
We stayed here two nights with a tour group. Some in the group were not impressed but we enjoyed the cozy rooms, the nice outside areas and the huge pool. The front desk folks were very helpful, the buffet was pretty good and very cheap. We had a steak on the last night and it was one of the better ones I have ever had. Very tender and delicious. The food staff took their time seating us and serving us but I Think it is that way most places in Italy. Everything was very clean and tidy. We had a loft I guess because we had our daughter with us. We cannot complain, very nice place to spend some time. Great views from our room. The pool was grand and you can even dive from the sides or the board. The only negative is that we had to haul our luggage up the stairs, most of our group had direct access to their rooms without stairs. Probably not a four star hotel by American standards, but a great place.
I stayed at this hotel last week and all I can say is wow...staff was so nice and accommodating. Always there to help and answer all questions. Room was cleaned everyday and food was ok. They went above and beyond to provide an excellent service to our group. I definitely recommend this place as it is pretty close to Voltera, San Gigimiano, Pisa, etc.
This could tick all the boxes of a lovely hotel. It's clean, tidy, the pool is big and there are lots of sunbeds. My room was really nice and cleaned daily. The staff are friendly and very helpful. What lets it down is the food. Unless you are on the starting blocks at 0730 for breakfast you've probably lucked out. The food is not replenished and eggs (be it scrambled or fried) have been sitting around for a good couple of hours getting nice and rubbery. The croissants and cake are stale and rock hard. It's mass catering but not in a good way. Such a shame really as a few minor changes would make a massive difference. Also the party I was with had leaky rooms when it rained. Whilst the weather was excessive torrential rain there's clearly some maintenance needed. If the food issue was addressed I would go back there again.
The hotel looks like it hasn't been redecorated since at least 1970, very old and dated. Friendly staff, poor service at the bar, leaking ceiling in our bedroom, food ok. Not worth the price they are charging.
