One needs to have a car to stay here and to be able to commute. Its a very beautiful natural surrounding with lush green lawns and an indoor pool. We reached here on a holiday when the town was almost dead. Once inside the property we could not trace the reception or any dwelling close by and had to wait until the adorable italian couples arrived with their even more adorable little daughter. The rooms was top class. The couple led us to a local vinery whereby we could taste the authentic local wine and buy some too. They were extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The pool was not clean to be used. Early next morning the lady served us the best breakfast we had in Europe with amazing croissants and the best freshly baked muffin that i have had.
The place is beautiful situated, road to the reception is not good for the car, this should be fixed, but views are stunning, between the olive trees. Room big and clean, white and little characterless. Pool clean, terrace with Nice chairs, and a swimming pond that looks beautiful. Breakfast is good, sweets, cake, good coffee and juice served between the grapes. Wifi in the reception area.
Somehow the place was very quiet, this felt strange for the good location. There was music at the pool the whole day what was a bit annoying. Locals can come and swim for a little fee. And on thursday night there was a party at the pool, the music was still loud in the room, but we could sleep well anyway.
All together a Nice place, lots of potential, but somehow too quiet, music at the pool and party made it a little less..
We were 6 families, half adults and half children, and very confusing, on July 2010. They gave us a whole small house, with every room one in front of the others. The staff was great organizing meals at the last moment and giving advices on the things to do around. The environment is nice, clean, cared for, and the pool is very pleasant.
