This hotel was great, especially considering the price. The room was spacious, clean, and had a balcony. It is a bit of a walk from restaurants (at least the ones that were open at night), but nothing too inconvenient. The owner/host was amazing! He was super friendly and helped out with everything from some Lao translations to helping us when we had an issue with our river cruise. The food provided was nice as well. We wish we had stayed another day to enjoy the view and chat with the owner. Definitely recommend.

The owner of this hotel provides a wonderfully friendly and helpful service to his guests. Situated alongside the Mekong, access to this part of the waterfront is being improved with a new access road, but fear not, the construction works do not disturb your sleep and we couldn’t even see them from our room. Clean rooms provided, as well as help with completing visa forms for Laos.

We have stayed in a lot of smaller hotels in Thailand and this one tops them all. The staff is amazing. The owner/operators are cordial and very helpful. We were given forms for Thai departure immigration and Laos visa applications. Their English is excellent.

Walking distance to restaurants and cafés.

The room was simple but very clean. Great view out the window of the Mekong River. Beautiful spot to watch the sunrise.

Wish we could stay here a week!

We had great communication prior to arrival. They were super friendly and welcoming on arrival with cold refreshing water.

The room was clean and huge with a great view of the Mekong river. There was great aircon and a powerful shower.

A lovely light breakfast offered in the morning for no extra cost was greatly appreciated. They were so warm and generous towards us we felt like we were treated like family.

They also helped us fill out the visa forms for Laos which was greatly appreciated.

We highly recommend a visit here! If we are ever in Chiang Khong again we would definitely be back!!
