If you want to experience one of the most stunning views of Capri, you can’t miss Monte Solaro, located high up on the island. From the overhang, you can see the Faraglioni and the splendor of the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno in the distance. Do you know the song 'Volare (Nel blu dipinto di blu)' by Modugno? If not, look it up, as here you will experience the exact feeling expressed in this song; being immersed in nature and marveling at the brilliant blues of the sky and sea.

Villa San Michele was built on the ruins of an ancient chapel dedicated to Saint Michele. It previously belonged to Alex Munthe: philanthropist, doctor and artist. Nowadays, it is a museum with an amazing terrace overlooking the sea. While visiting Villa San Michele, you can enjoy the various relics that Munthe collected from around the world.

If you'd like to feel like you're living in a dreamworld, then I suggest taking a walk in Parco Filosofico. The main theme here is philosophy. While you are walking, you will chance upon tiles with famous quotes from the great philosophers, from the time of Delfi until the present day. It's a surreal voyage into the human consciousness.
