Both me and my husband are retired and enjoy travelling. We have a long haul holiday in Feb/March and two short hauls one in May usually Kalkan in Turkey and September, usually a 2 centre in Croatia. Our main hobby is wine tasting and with that in mind we have recently visited South Africa and Australia. Obviously we don't go to Turkey or Greece for the wine but everything else is we try to have a few nights away throughout the year staying in hotels with good restaurants.
Marinas, Piers & Boardwalks, Shopping Malls
Excellent food and owned and run by one of the top chef's in Capetown. He used to be a La colombe
One of the top restaurants in Capetown. Wonderful food, expensive but worth it for the experience
Very casual but food is good. It is family owned so they have a reputation to maintain. Eat outside, it's slightly under cover and rustic. Good cocktails and the best prawns ever.
Bustleing and busy. It is in the shopping centre at the waterfront. Casual dress. Food is very good and can be had in small portions so you can have several tasters. Food if you want a light meal. Staff very efficient.
Go up in the Cable car and have a walk round at the top. The views are fantastic.
The Water front is vibrant and interesting. Lots of shops and restaurants. Music or entertainment on every corner. Seals and boats in the harbour. A super Aquarium. We love it.
Peaceful and a haven for plant lovers. Lots of birds. Ssculptures, open spaces. Restaurant & Cafe
