Lives in Perth, Australia
Since Jul 2009
35-49 year old male
Love to travel as much as possible. Meeting people from all over the world and staying long enough to experience their lives and culture just a little more in depth. Also love all foods and try to experience the cultural culinary delights as best I can. Love the different dishes, cultural preparations and ceremonies that often accompany eating with them and their families. Travel broadens my mind and truly does enrich my own life. It teaches me more about people and the beautiful world we live in and allows me to form my own opinions which is really important.

There is something special about standing on the southern most part of this continent. A wind swept, harsh environment with a unique and rugged beauty.
If you are a foodie like me then you will love this one stop shop area. So many cafe, restaraunts and bars. You can easily eat your way around here for days - I did. During peak summer period a variety of street side entertainment and small fun fare rides like a Ferris wheel. One for the kids. Inside the large shopping complex there are many quality retail stores.
Kirstenbosch gardens are a must see. Beautiful gardens under the stunning back drop of table mountains. See plenty of the continent flora and plants from around the world.
A great way to get educated about Africa. Beautiful displays with an amazing wealth of information to broaden your understanding of African history and culture.
A visit to Cape Town without looking down from Table Mountain is just not a full Cape Town experience. The views are amazing, the walks on top tranquil - I loved it.
A short drive over the mountain from Cape Town is scenic Camps Bay. A popular coastal road and place to see wealthy properties built high up along the coastal hill face. A nice clean beach for those wishing a swim with just a walk across the road for a coffee and bite to eat. A great place to start your southern coastal drive.
A beautiful view of Cape Town and surrounding coast line. You can even para glide from here.
Probably one of the best kept gardens in Cape Town city. Beautiful displays of trees and plants. Great spot to relax.
Lots of cafe, bars and shops. See the other side of night life here.
