I love to travel. I am not happy unless I am planning a new adventure, returning to a beloved city, or blazing a trail to somewhere I have never been before. My favorite places in the world are London, New Orleans, Disneyland, and Salem, Massachusetts. I also love to write about everything and anything to do with travel. I have penned travel guides for TripAdvisor on Jamaica, Nassau, Charleston, Savannah, Nashville, Punta Cana, Kissimmee, San Juan, Panama City Beach, Louisville, Cincinnati, Key Largo, Biloxi, Tampa, Cleveland, Clearwater, Branson, Pigeon Forge, and Phoenix.

The Shoppes at Rose Hall may just be the best shopping option in Montego Bay. If you are staying at the resort, visiting the Great House, or checking out the beach here, it is also very convenient. It boasts 12 duty-free outlets and 31 shops, along with a restaurant and coffee shop.
This is a great shopping center, with about 20 stores to explore. They carry clothing, souvenirs, and even a few things you may have forgotten to pack in your suitcase!
The Crafts Market is a flea market-style shopping area, where a lot of local goods are sold by the residents of Montego Bay. You will find a lot of handmade items here — as well as typical souvenirs — and while many vendors sell the same products, you're still more than likely to find something you like.
The gallery of Ahhh... Ras Natango is absolutely wonderful! All of the items are made entirely by the staff who work here, and include paintings, artwork, jewelry, and all sorts of unique souvenir and gift ideas.
Margaritaville is not all about the burgers and the margaritas sold here but when you visit, you're likely to have such a great time that you'll want to commemorate your experience with something from the wide range of items in the gift shop. From T-shirts to shot glasses, be sure to stock up on your Margaritaville memorabilia!
Jewels & Time is a duty-free jeweler with a few locations in Jamaica, one of which is in Montego Bay. This store has an excellent selection, and has been serving visitors and locals alike for over fifty years.
When I am in a different country, I just love to taste-test and purchase locally manufactured liquors. Appleton Estate Rum is a perfect example of one such product — a smooth local rum that is perfect for mixing, or for sipping straight.
Doctor's Cave Beach is one of the most well-known attractions in Montego Bay. As well as visiting for the great sand and surf, be sure to leave time to peruse the gift shops and stands located here.
Gloucester Avenue is known as the 'Hip Strip,' and this is where you will find the largest collection of locally-owned stores, selling everything from snacks and grocery items to clothing and souvenirs. You can easily spend a day ducking in and out of these little shops!
This is a nice place to shop for souvenirs and other items. The shop owners are all friendly, and are really helpful if you're looking for something in particular.
