I have looked at the photos for this hotel and it appears as though the have paper plates and plastic cutlery for breakfast. Is this right or do they have china crockery and proper cutlery.
Yes, the breakfast area is awash with plastic plates and cutlery. Very wasteful IMO but there you go. If you want to eat there, go very early. Otherwise it's a zoo of people loading up for and drinks, looking for a place to sit, juggling for positions around the food offerings, and dumping their garbage. If I went back I'd buy some croissants from the French bakery around the corner and make coffee in my room. Or go elsewhere.
Hi Daisy, yes the plates and cutlery are plastic, but thats what you'll find in most of the hotels that offer breakfast at no extra cost in USA. But you have many restaurants for breakfast nearby that can fit your budget and choices.
yes, the plates are stiff paper and the utensils are all plastic. That is common in most hotels in America that provide breakfast at no extra cost. If you prefer china and silverware, look for a hotel where you will pay, in New York, $500 or more per night, without a breakfast at no extra cost.
Dear Daisy, Yes you are right, they all
are disposable. Unfortunately.
Yes it is paper plates and plastic cutlery
I didn’t have breakfast there. Since it’s close to the subway we woke up early and went to 9/11 Memorial. We had breakfast in that area. As people here say, if you are in New York, better go out and select a different place!
Skip the breakfast and visit a local restaurant.
I do not remember the type of plates and cutlery that were provided as I visited back in Feb 2018 and it is now Aug. However, I do remember that the breakfast was not all together great and there was VERY limited seating. I suggest you visit one of the local restaurants or a Starbucks/McDonalds. There are several in the area.
Yes, you are right. they have thick paper plates and plastic cutlery.
