I am a senior with a sore knee. How do you think I would do on upper white water trip?
You can tell the guide which knee is sore and they can position you on a certain side of the raft so that your sore knee is the one resting.
I also have bad knees. The position you have to place your feet is a bit uncomfortable so I asked the guide to let me know when it was safe to take the feet out, throughout the ride, and that helped. I would still do it again.
I wasn’t sore in the legs, more shoulders(from rowing). They do ask if anyone has any injuries, and then they kinda place you where they can compensate for the injuries. I would ask your physician to be safe though.
