Franschhoek Wine Tram Questions & Answers

London, United Kingdom

Is there a difference between the Blue line and the Green line except for the order of the vineyards? Will we lose a 'stop' since the green line stops at Franschhoek village but the blue line does not?

Also, would Le Lude be the best option for lunch on the green line?

Thank you

Dear Adhiroya3,

Thank you for your question. The main difference between the Green and Blue Line would simply be with the Blue you will start with our Tram-busses and end the tour on the Tram. With the Green Line you start on the Tram and end of your tour on the Tram-busses.

The lunch stop would also influence your decision as to go with Blue or Green, but ultimately they visit the same estates. The stop in town is simply a stop at the Ticket Office again.

Kind Regards,

Franschhoek Wine Tram Management

Look on the website, the routes are really well described. Grand Provence is the best stop on the green line, last stop is Mont Rochelle which is also very good but too late for lunch.
