How loud and often is the organ music played? We would like to enjoy the music but still be able to visit with the people at our table.

It is loud but not to the point of being annoying. You can enjoy your meal while the organ is being played. You have to understand the organ playing is the entertainment and it is something you want to watch and not just listen to.

The organ is the show so it's going to be loud enough to hear. It is not like music at a night club or anything. You don't need to shout at the person across from you. Plus there are breaks.

The sets are 35 - 40 minutes long with a 15 minute intermission in between. It can be a little loud depending on where you sit. For less noise I would suggest sitting in the second floor balcony, 1st choice, or along the sides 2nd choice. The main floor center is the loudest.

Sit upstairs as compared to downstairs. If you check their website it gives you the organist and his or her times. The people beside us commented on this is where they bring their guests.

Our advice is to arrive early so you can sit next to the railing upstairs.

It is quite loud but not overpowering. While the organ is playing you will not want to do any talking. It is mesmerizing. You will have plenty of time to talk before recital or after.

The sets are 30-45 minutes with 15 minute intermissions. It also depends on where you are sitting. in the center the music may be louder and fuller. We where there and had to sit on the sides and we were still able to talk. The intermissions can also be noisy as people leave and others fill in the empty sets.

It's loud but there are intermissions when you can talk. Very fun place, the music is the reason for going.
