100 rand is a great tip and very worth every bit.
We gave 500 rand for our family of 2 adults and 3 children per tour. We did all three.
I gave 100 Rands per walk.
hi, I was alone and paid 100 Rands per walk - I participated in all 3. Enjoy!
We gave 50 rand per person/ 100 per couple.
I also gave a R100, I think that's fair.
It's a good question. Ultimately it depends on the value you experience. R100 is a moderate sum in my opinion.
I know that these types of tours with a professional guide can cost hundreds when booked privately elsewhere. I think a tip of ±R100 per person is acceptable but if you can afford more, it is definitely worth more.
We provided R150 for two adults and a teenager.
Around 1.5-2 hours of a fantastic informative tour given my enthusiastic young people. What ever you think it is worth considering normal commercial tours would cost probably 3-4 times. I would say 100 Rand is a good kind of benchmark.
R 50 & above isn't a bad idea, but remember, this guilders are paid from every tip given them by tourist...So I suggest given something tangible
