I bought a SA adapter from Amazon. first time I used it one of the pins came out and stuck in the socket. They have universal adapters at the Lodge; buy them there would be my advice

I bought a converter and an adapter through Amazon. The adapter was supposed to be specifically for South Africa, but didn't fit the outlets. I bought one at Zulu Nyala for a reasonable price, I think about 10.00. Hope this helps.

We bought the power converter at the Johannesburg airport when we arrived. Also, Zulu Nyala sells them and there and the price was comparable to the airport price.

Two and three prong adapters worked for us. It is 220/240 volts. They sell adapters at the lobby of the lodge there.

Enjoy your trip. It was awesome for us!

I bought two converters from amazon that worked perfectly. South Africa plugs have three round pins. We also brought a multi-plug tower for charging the phones

It is as standard type for South Africa. It is actually very confusing and different than everywhere else-I suggest going to local travel store. You need the converter and adapter.
