Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you for your kind interest in TAV Airport Hotel. Hotel is located in Atatürk Airport Intenational Terminal. If you are a transit passenger you don't need a visa.

TAV Airport Hotel provides hourly accommodations on the Air Side (where is inside the transit area, in other words custom-free zone before the passport control inside the international departure terminal so that only transit passenger can stay) and Land Side where overnight and daily accommodation is possible (where is after the passport control and the part adjacent to terminal).

You will need the boarding pass for an International flight to stay on the Air Side.

Kind Regards,

Sinem Göksel

Hi, the hotel is in the transit zone on the ground floor next to the excellent Turkish Airlines lounge at the very end of the terminal. You can take a lift down and the hotel reception is right in front of you. I would suggest you reserve online as it can get busy, especially during the European summer months.

When you arrive (it depends where the plane parks) you can either go straight to the TAV transit hotel (ask for the Turkish Airlines lounge next door), please do not go through passport control!!! You may have to go through security control to return to the central shopping area of the terminal. By the way they have an excellent selection of English language books in the bookshop.

If you are a Star Alliance frequent flyer, I would suggest you have your meals in the Turkish Airlines lounge, the others are generally average. The food choice is very varied and you capture the true flavour of Turkish cuisine!

Bon voyage!!

You will still need to get a visa as its next to the airport. Visa is very easy on most passports.

yes it is but make sure you book an air side room so that you dont leave the airport. i would reccommend you eat at the airport restaurants cafe rather than at the air side part of the hotel though..

The hotel is in the airport. No need to go through customs if you are in transit, The hotel entrance is accessed just to the left of the main entrance once you have passed through customs. If indeed you come through customs. If not follow obscure signs to hotel.

Sorry Trula, just to clarify, you either stay Airside..OR Landside..you cant interconnect between the two. The beauty of staying Airside is...out of bed, shower, breakfast and straight to the boarding gate after. !! No check in, bags to worry about, passport or security...you're already past it.!!

You can book Airside rooms on the condition that you are in procession of ongoing boarding passes for your next flight. However if you wanted to maybe go into Istanbul, you'd have to clear immigration and use the landside entrance. NOTE..YOU CAN'T MIX THE TWO..THEY'E FOR ALL INTENT AND PURPOSE TWO SEPERATE HOTELS WITH SEPERATE ENTRANCES. Enjoy your trip.

Yes, the TAV hotel has two sections. One is in the terminal so no visa required. You don't even have to pick up your forwarded shipped on luggage. The other part of the hotel is outside of the terminal and then one must have a visa. Go on the TAV website and they have easy directions to follow to the airside hotel entrance. There are shops, duty free and restaurants close to the hotel. It's clean, quiet and very comfortable. We stayed twice going and returning from the Maldives.
