Hey, when I was there, alot of people were closed off because they were travelling in groups- but were friendly enough. If you stay in a room with shared bunks, then I'm sure you'd meet some cool people. Either way good location!

This week we have wine night... and in the same area there is a restaurant with also live music.

Staff are great and very helpful!

But if you are looking for a lot of parties , happy hours , etc... maybe wombats it is a better option

Hi, I was travelling solo as well and found this hostel the best of all places I’ve been to meet and talk to others. There is a big, really sociable kitchen and a relaxing communal area. Whilst I was there they had a free tapas evening which was a great way to chat with others and a drinks get together (but I’d already booked to go to a show that night).

I travel solo, and this place has activities every night for everyone. Monday was free spaghetti, in the kitchen. We all sat, chat, ate together. One night was free wine sampling in lobby. Had fun meeting people. Afterwards, you can go out in small groups to eat, party, ... Very charming place, folks working there are helpful.
