Hello, how do you get to the Crowne Plaza from the Brussels midi station .? Thanks Robert from Tamworth England
Dear Robert B., Thank you for intending to come to our hotel. Indeed, the tram is one of the option and I see that you got a lot of valuable advice, thank you to all travellers. The tram is going underground,so you need to go down to the metro station Gare du Midi (directly from the rail station) and then follow the tram signs (line 3 or 4 direction Gare du Nord or Esplanade). You will have then direct connection and the station to stop to is Rogier, just next to our hotel. Taxi might also be an option, would be around 20 Eur, depending on traffic. Have a good trip and welcome to our hotel, Gabriela Oude Vrielink

I think you've got a lot of info re your question so far.
One tip: I always resort to Google Maps for advice beofre I visit a place abroad. I find it very very helpful and analytical!
Enjoy your trip to and your stay in Brussels!
From the lovely Crown Plaza hotel you can take the Metro on Place Rogier to Midi or tram nr. 5. Good luck and have a nice trip.
The easiest way is definitely the tram. You can take either line 3 towards esplanade or line 4 towards gare de nord.
As the previous reply States, rogier is the 5th stop.
As a tip When you are at midi ensure you take the right hand escalators. This will take you to the lower level platform which is heading in the right direction.
The different tram lines are signposted in either pink or lime green.
Follow the signs to the Metro station (Look for the Zebra sat at a coffee table about 50 metres inside the station from Eurostar Arrivals. You can but tickets at the Kiosk Bootik (I suggest a 10 ticket carnet that can be used on metro and trams (14.5 Euro). The quickest is to follow signs to the Tram, on the right (signs to Gare du Noord). The tram takes 5 minutes and there Rogier is the 5th stop. Get to the surface and the hotel is in front of you on Place Rogier. You can get the metro to Rogier which follows the Inner Ring road above. It will take 10-15 minutes. The signs on the front of the train will say Simonis/Leopold III. Rogier station comes after Botanique.
Enjoy your stay!!
