For a person with mobility problems is it possible to get a taxi to the hotel
Yes re the taxi, but there are lots of steps to the various terraces and cobbled uneven paths/roads inside the hotel grounds too. The rooms are the old houses on the medieval streets and ours had a steep marble staircase to the upper floor (bathroom downstairs and bedroom uostairs). They have some specially adapted rooms though. It is a fabulous hotel (the best I have ever stayed jn) but with mobility issues you may not get the full benefits. i hope this helps.
yes, but this area is very hilly, you are basically on the side of a small mountain!!I would avoid if you have severe mobility problems...
I would reconsider a visit to Eze if you have difficulty with walking. Taxis, cars, buses all park near the village entrance and any time spent in village is on steep, cobblestone steps, As the hotel is actually a series of old buildings/homes in the village, same goes for the hotel.
It is a wonderful village and special hotel. Just to be sure you should check with the hotel to see if they can accomodate you
Probably. However, once at the hotel there are lots of steps and the ground is very uneven. If you are simply going to the restaurant, you would probably be ok.
Yes, Definitely challenging to get to reception and then to room.
The ground is un even and there are quite a few steps.
every time you want to leave the room you have to walk up or walk down steps and uneven ground
I would not stay there if mobility was an issue.
Yes, you can get a taxi but the cobbled streets are narrow and very uneven so although the hotel is lovely it's not that easy.
I hope this helps
