Can the room windows be opened in the event it gets stuffy? For ventilation. we are planning for a December visit. thanks in advance!
Yes but not all the way.
Yes, I opened the window in June. I hope you'll enjoy your stay as much I this summer.
Only a tiny bit for us as we were on the ground floor. It was hot in the room at night - luckily we were out in the day!
Yes I opened my window at night....and also in the day. The window whas old and some times you have to use force to opened.
Windows can be opened only few centimeters because of safety reasons; that's what they told me.
Yes we opened our windows at night. It might be a bit cold in December to open them!!
Yes you can open the windows at first floor.
Yes I would think so. There was only one window we had trouble with but I guess it depends on which room you stay in.
4 th floor window overlooking the park and it could open about a foot and it allowed the air to circulate the small room.
My room on the third floor had a sash window that could only be raised about 20 cm or so. I suspect it's for security reasons. I stayed there in May, and the room did get rather warm and stuffy at times; I would have liked to have been able to open the window more. But it wasn't intolerable. In December you'd probably not want a wide open window anyway.
