I am traveling to London from the US soon and dreading the overnight flight. Do you provide an early (before noon) check in?
Thank you for your question, one option would be to book a room from the night before, then the room will be ready as soon as you arrive at the hotel - make sure the booking is noted as a 'Pre-Registration' so we know you are definitely coming!
Personally, I like flying overnight to Europe. Try to sleep, or at least rest, on the flight, and once you arrive, resist the temptation to nap. You'll adjust to the time difference that way. While the hotel holds your luggage, go explore a bit. Stroll through the beautiful parks, buy advance tickets for the London Eye, people watch in the square... Spend the time on "low-impact" activities until you can check in to your room.
Same thing with us. We arrived early so they stored our bags but we weren’t able to check in early, as none of the rooms were ready yet. They did TRY to find us a room so we could check in early, but there wasn’t one available.
Also, overnight flights are the worst! We had one too. Zzzzz. Enjoy your stay in London!
It was 2pm before I could officially check in but they do allow you to check in your luggage early if you wish to, then you can have a wander around the centre of London. There is a lot within 1 mile of the hotel. You could always sit in the lounge and sleep in an easy chair if you are really tired. The hotel was relaxed and quiet with friendly staff when I was there last month .
