London Pass Including Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour and Access to Over 80 Attractions Questions & Answers

La Verkin, Utah

We are considering buying the pass. Did you use or see benefit for eating out discounts? Did all of those places you visited actually have an entrance fee? Do most sites in London have an entrance fee? Did you actually get a physical card or was it solely digital?

Thanks

We got it to get to the head of the line, and they ended most of that. The attractions have admissions, but to make the pass pay for itself, you would have to see many sights every day. I didn’t know there was a food section, but I bet there is a catch to that also.

For all writers. Check on line for the “Oyster” card offered in London. It has been a few years since I’ve been to London and know some of the major tourist sites were honored, but most were. Worth the cost.

I been to London many times and each time the offers on this card change, I used it mostly for travel on the tube, and occasional admission to different sites. Haven’t been for about 5 years so don’t know what is available on the current card.

Physical card. The bus was useless but we did get free admission to various sites. Did not pursue restaurant discounts. I believe it is worthwhile as long as you don’t waste time on the stupid bus.

I didn’t use the food discount and many attractions take a bit longer than expected, so the pass was useful but limited in how many sights we could see in the day. The bus was very helpful in getting the lay of the city. Overall, good for my first visit to London but wouldn’t do the next time.

Hi there, it was our first time touring London and would definitely recommend getting the pass. We didn't use the food side of the pass. It was most enjoyable being able to sit on the bus with the headphones and hearing what each building was as we passed it; very informative. Went solely digital.

Hi, Most of the places we went to did not require the Pass. We only used it for the Tower of London and Churchill's war rooms and the bus tours, I'd say check on the list of attractions it covers and see how many you would really use it for. I didn't use the food side of it to be honest. We are going again in the summer but wont bother with the London Pass again.
