Sorry for the delay in replying. The wall is free and open at all times. No guided tour but plaques explaining local sights and information at various points along the wall. The castle keep is free to to look around.

Hi, I did a solo walk with details from a guide book, but plenty of extremely well presented information boards, and had no problems. Don't know if guided tours. I am nearly 76 and had no access difficulties. Short section of the north wall is under repair and inaccessible.

It's open to the public, though there is a small portion on one side that is being repaired so you will have to briefly exit the wall at the current time

Really easy to follow the walls all the way around by yourself. Easy to stop off and access any pubs/cafes and then continue on.

I do not know of any guided tours of the wall, but there maybe some. It is best to climb the steps to the wall anywhere along its path and explore at your own pace and leisure. We usually start at the clock in the Main Street, hope this is helpful.

No guided tour needed. It's self explanatory.
