Our main station at Llanuwchllyn is the one with the café and shop where you can relax under cover (if it is raining) waiting for the train.

All trains have closed coaches so you won't get wet if the Welsh sunshine pours down

Yes the station is undercover. Take a raincoat just in case but we'll worth the experience whatever the weather.

The Bala end has a shelter from the rain, so you can stay dry and travel back on the train, but if you want to travel from Llanuwchllyn to Bala and then walk into Bala town you will have to brave the rain on the walk...

Yes, the main station is but you might get wet at the Bala end. Worth the risk though as it's a great railway.

The train has some closed in carriages and some open sided we were in the closed ones with windows open to get the steam experience

There is a cafe and shops on the station platform
