We didn't end up in the water, but as has been mentioned it's possible. If you watch how you guide the kayak, you shouldn't have a problem. We really enjoyed the trip!

Dear Judy - there is absolutely the possibility that you might end up in the sea... I did! The trip we did contained some open water (approximately the first and last 30 minutes as you exit Marigot Bay and go round the headland) However, you are of course given safety vests and supervised/guided constantly. If you decide to go, hope you have fun...

Hello Judy,

We did not swim at all, we were either in the kayak or on the beach. We had life jackets on at all times. It was a lot of fun and a beautiful area. There is always a possibility you could tip into the water, but I did not feel like it could happen easily. If you enjoy an upper body work out and seeing beautiful rock cliffs and mangroves then yes, you would enjoy it.
