Can someone tell me please, is Monkeyland near Plettenberg Bay?
We have a stay of 3 days there so are looking for some good sites, attractions to see.
It's a 30-45min drive from Plettenberg bay
Monkeyland is roughly 24km from Plettenberg (25min drive) and as mentioned by others is close to "birds of eden", "tenikwa" and the elephant sanctuary. There is also "jukani" which is roughly 7km closer to plett, which can then be done on the way to or from the others. All are worth a visit and make for a nature packed day ;)
Yes, about 10 km. It is also virtually next to bird and elephant sanctuary
Hi, yes it is very close... try to combine the visit with Tenikwa and Birds of Eden... Take something for mosquitoes.
It is very close maybe 15 minutes in a car. It is also next to the bird attraction and also elephant experience.
Good day, yes Monkeyland is a short drive from Plett. Enjoy and remember the sunscreen and flat, comfy shoes.
Yes as the others have said it's an easy drive from Plett. If you are staying at the Beacon island hotel they do trips with transport to
Monkeyland from the hotel with no extra cost, but you loose out on the ticket discount which you could get if you take one of their brochures that has a less 10% sticker on it. You will also still get the discount that monkeyland offer for entry to two or three of their parks ie Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and Jukani. All are very near to Plett.
Yes it is. Great place.
Monkey land is around 30 mins drive from plett. Next door is birds of eden which is terrific. You can get a joint ticket with discount. Both are great. Another 40 mins you get to storms river mouth . Really nice suspension bridge across River mouth. If you are into elephants next door to monkey land elephant park. We didn't do but good reports.
Alternate route off toll road goes to nature valley . Really nice sea views but undeveloped .
If you have time 45 mins other direction knysna . Nice but busy...
Yes not far at all from the Bay
Yes - around 30 minutes from central Plettenberg Bay. Also quite close to Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre which is also worth a visit.
