Honestly, we just went to the place that had the biggest line and we were pleased. The name of the vendor escapes me right now...sorry!
Pat's and Chill'in Grillin
Pats or Uncle George’s ....we’ve been to both ...but get there fairly early to avoid the rush...they both get very busy....especially especially between 1930 and 2100
Pats is where it’s at. I think I uploaded pics of her menu. You order at the window and have the option of fried or grilled fish. If your choose grilled you join the line by the grill for your fish. Fried options are done inside. The macaroni pie is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Prices start at $25 and you have options such as plantain and cole slaw.
George is one of the most popular Vendors but you will need to get there before or by 7pm so you don't wait too long...worth the wait.
We have eaten at several places which I cannot recall the names of but one place we especially liked, and will return to next visit was called Chillin’n Grillin. Service was excellent as well as the food. We tried the Crab Shack this past trip but it was very slow receiving our meal ) and we arrived quite early) then the waitress expected a BIG tip but service wasn’t worth it. Suggest you get there early for a seat and to have a look around before you choose where you want to eat. Be careful what kind of fish you order too. Some fish comes whole on your plate with eyes and all and the red snapper has a lot of bones! I always order chicken to be on the safe side.
