Horrible experience, crowded public spaces, terrible bar service, food mediocre, stateroom was the nicest part of the ship. Thankfully, as I had to spend five days bedridden with viral pneumonia I caught onboard half way through the trip. When I made it down to the ships medical hospital for treatment there were many many many others staff included with the same cough and symptoms I was experiencing. Others in my group also caught this viral pneumonia. No quarantine took place, no one told me to stay in my room but I was too sick to walk so I was there anyway. Staff continued to work even with the illness. You could hear the hacking even by staff in the dining room. No wonder we have this problem today

MSC is good value. I met some lovely people on this cruise, though I do tend to keep to myself a lot to enjoy reading. Main dining room food is a little disappointing, but service throughout the ship was good. I travel with family (same generation, not older/younger kids and not multi-generational...so I had to click I travel with "friends" because they didn't have my option.

We (two couples plus myself) booked a cruise on MSC Divina for March 2020 to Puerto Rico, Tortola and St. Marteen. The day before we left, the Covid 19 was a "worry" and one day after we left it was "mayhem" in the US. Unfortunately, all three of our ports didn't accept our ship. I must say the cruise line did their best to find alternates. We used the private island owned by Princess, went to Cozumel and finally to Ocean Cay the private island owned by MSC. It was very disappointing - all but Ocean Cay which was great. I think the cruise line should have made some things on the Cay free given the circumstances (like umbrellas) and made drinks half price or something. MSC tried very hard, I believe, to find places. The cruise itself (my first cruise btw) was fine. My room was a nice balcony room. A bit worn. My cabin steward (3/13/20 - 3/20/20) room 10099 was FANTASTIC. Super nice and helpful guy. Always had my room in great shape. My friends' cabin steward (they had a cheaper inside room on another level) was not so nice to them. I witnessed his arguing with them about a request (and they were being very reasonable and polite). We stuck to the buffet for all but one meal. It was fine - especially at lunch where they had great ethnic foods, pizza, etc. Lunch was my favorite meal. Coffee was weak and there's a charge for lattes, etc. The gelato (extra $) was extraordinary (better than Italy). Even though coronav made the trip less populated it was crowded at sea. The ceramic tile at the rear pool was so hot it burned our feet. (I mean really burned - they need to change that.) The highlight of my trip was the massage package I purchased prior and a body scrub. My massage therapist - JOEHY - was FANTASTIC. She actually made the trip for me. Very good, nice but not chatty, etc. She relaxed me in a way that I haven't felt in years. The spa day (a variety of dry saunas) was meh. One of the steam rooms wasn't working and there were no thermal pools. The casino is smoky. The boat itself is very pretty. Spa area is especially nice and new. I think they could use the theater in a better way. Why not have an early movie? Gym was nice with a good variety of equipment. For the most part the crowd is fine - not rowdy, lots of families, people from all over the world. I felt safe at all times traveling alone as a single woman. I would use this cruise line again. Loved lunch, my cabin steward and my massage therapist. Glad I got the balcony - totally worth it.

We thought the whole yacht club concept was brilliant we had the facilities of the whole ship available and also our own quiet oasis of tranquility when needed. Le Muse was excellent very varied menu with lots of Mediterranean dishes which we loved and the staff were superb. The top sail lounge was perfect with outstanding views and the private pool and sundeck were outstanding imagine no one hogging the sun loungers it was really civilised unlike other cruises we have travelled on. We enjoyed the theatre shows very different to American ships and everyone of the crew we met really did try to make you feel special and welcome and they succeeded. Will definitely travel with MSC again very impressed.
