Just been on our 1st cruise and stay holiday on the marella explorer 2, sail three seas. OMG everything was perfect, all the team on board were so helpful, smiling and the food was 2nd to none. Montenegro was stunning, we done 3 excursions, tuk tuk in Italy, winter tasting up mount etna (best excursion I've ever been on) snd another 3 hour tuk tuk in Montenegro. Entertainment team were very good. Phoebe in the piano bar was very good and always happy.

We went on Treasures of the Mediterranean in April 2024. This was our second cruise on this ship. Previously we went on a Caribbean cruise in 2020 (last cruse that went ahead before C19). We loved our first cruise so much we always knew we want to go back. Fast forward to April we were finally back on the ship. We had a great deal on a Junior Suite on deck 12 (last time we had deluxe aft balcony cabin) and we loved it. Our stewards were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Yes this is an older ship and may seem a bit tired but I really couldn't care less. I go for the itinerary and the experience. If you look at other cruise lines with fancy new ships their itinerary/ports are not as good and some on them include 2 sea days on a 7 day cruise, which for me is a waste of time. I want to be in the ports exploring. Another big factor for me is that this an adults only ship, I wouldn't go on a ship that wasn't adults only. The only different this time was the food on offer at the Market Place, It was good quality still but not as much variety as in 2020, this was the only small thing but it was not an issue, more of an observation. We only went to 1 show, as few of them we've seen before. It was as good as we remembered it. We don't normally go to the specialty restaurants but this time we went to the Dining Club (twice) and it was excellent, especially the pairing menu on the dress to impress night. Food and service were amazing. We liked the house band, the Beats, they played every evening in Squid and Anchor or in Indigo, we would go for a drink after dinner and listen to the band for a bit. We had full schedule in every port so we didn't hang around too much. We had a great cruise and booking Sails Three Seas for next year, on the same ship of course. We loved every minute.

BHX - Dubrovnik - Valletta - Messina - Taranto - Corfu - Kotor - Dubrovnik - back to BHX (very sadly!) Just a great trip with my Wife and our good friends- what a week - what a crew - some gems of places to visit Food superb - especially in Latitude - why go anywhere else? Drinks / wine / service - all over the ship - just excellent Enjoyed the entertainment - the dancers and singers are just great - it's the effort all the staff put in - it makes a difference I heard one of the crew say there are 700 plus crew from 46 different countries, and wouldn't it be nice if the rest of the world got along so well? - The kind of statement that makes you stop and think - well, it made me stop and think - what a great thought - it kind of sums that ship up - they are certainly quite a team and I was thankul to share their ship for just that week Cheers Team Explorer2 Very much appreciated Statham

Just had a week on this lovely ship. 4 couples with 3 of the ladies celebrating their overdue 50th birthdays, postponed due to covid. We upgraded to rear balcony cabins which were spacious and well equipped. The balcony had brilliant views and loungers plus table and chairs. The room was slightly tired but comfortable enough. Restaurants were very good with plenty of choice, we paid for a premium drinks package which was well worth it for the variety of cocktails alone! There were plenty of sunbeds for everyone and we made use of the walking track on the top deck. The real shout out is to the staff on this ship who absolutely made our time on board a pleasure, they are so friendly and helpful and genuinely caring it makes you feel special. Big thanks to our cabin stewards Astika, Sandra and Mahesh for their towel animal surprises and helpful tips about places to visit ( my towel birthday cake was amazing!) For keeping us supplied with coffee and just for being lovely people. Massive thanks to the 2 best waitresses in Latitude 53, Aye Aye and Sheena who looked after us so well with their lovely smiles and gentle personalities. Very interesting to talk to them and find out about their lives. Last but not least thanks to Rosemarie in Aperetif bar who was hilarious picking up our Yorkshire accents ..Eh up my love!!! All in all a fantastic time spent in Croatia and Italy on a nice ship with fabulous staff.

We have just come back from 7 days sail the three seas. The cabin was very spacious could have done with a bit of TLC in the bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful and cabin stewards very pleasant. The band on the pool deck the beats were very repetitive and need to sing live instead of beng bored and no interest. The breakfast were very nice especially the omelette. All in all for the money the cruise was what we expected. If people want more then they should pay more and go with a different cruise line. We would go with marella again.
