This was my first cruise. It was not very pleasant. I feel carnival could’ve done a better job with the amount of children that were bored. It was as if parents boarded the ship with their children, gave them their wristband and let them have free range all over the ship. There were children of all ages everywhere unattended. They were running up and down the hallways doors in the middle of the night. The staff did a very poor job. It is forcing the adult only areas they were full of children all the time this was my first cruise. I will never take another carnival cruise. There were teenagers doing unthinkable act in bathroom. I have no idea what these children’s parents were what type of upbringing was control .I would comment on the food however there were so many children and all of the lines all the time it made it almost impossible to get food. We ate mostly at the blush restaurant where we had dinner and we had breakfast everywhere else was this crawling with children. The cabin we stayed in was very nice and our cabin attendant was very very nice and attentive had not been for him. This would’ve been a horrible ,horrible five days. Carnival breeze is a cruise. I will never recommend to anybody even though with children.

Carnival is getting this BAD REVIEW because they won't take fair responsibility for this trips experience. It's Not... because we encountered a closed or closing buffet the entire trip after realizing room service was bad, $$ and we were hungry It's Not... because Room service was not open hours as advertised and very limited options for more $$ forcing us to go to that closed buffet It's Not... because if you don't like Pizza and burgers you are basically SOL during the daytime (late breakfast or lunch) It's Not... because simple items like coffee and juice were charged at room service even though we bought $$$ drink packages It's Not... because we could not have adult beverages delivered to our room with room service even though we bought that $$$ drink package It's Not... because we faced discrimination bar service It's Not... because we had a never right pour drink bartender & another who refused to make frozen drinks both with TUDE It's Not... because you served a bad BLACK lobster tail in your pay $49 per person extra in that upscale steak house It's Not... because our Grand SUITE missed a cleaning and we had dirty dishes, towels on the floor and unmade beds awaiting us at 8 in the evening It's Not... because The main dining room food & service was MEH It's Not... because our room had a FLOOD and we came back late at night to a big commercial Fan, soaked carpet, a disheveled room and our beds smushed together and NO communication or word from anyone via any method as to what happened It's Not... because we stepped into wet carpet a couple days and had commercial fans a blowing (day 2 we had to request the fan back because our floors were still wet) It's Not... because a unannounced work Crew Took apart our tub and shower in the middle of the day when we needed to pack and shower It's Not... because there was ZERO communication or any offer of ANYTHING regarding the loss of use of our Suite regarding the Flood It's not... because we both developed hacking coughs the last days before departing the boat HOWEVER... It IS...all of these things added up are unacceptable and deprived us of a great trip we planned and looked forward to It IS... because we booked & upgraded to a $$$ Grand Suite, we paid extra $$$ for dining experiences, we bought the $$$ drink packages, we gambled, we went offshore and shopped, we paid extra $$$ for the Music themed group we went with, We Flew in and out of Houston, had hotel and travel expenses before and after the cruise It IS... that we made great effort & looked forward to this Girls bestie Trip and made $$$ upgrades/expenditure to insure that after the recent death of my husband (cancer caretaker for 8 years who really needed a FUN full of good eats & cocktails stress free excursion) had a great 5 star trip It IS... that you cared so little about the combined total poor service experience on this cruise and did NOT offer proper compensation. Sorry... a WI FI credit is Not proper compensation. The WIFI was fine? The $179.00 discount on a future booking is a pittance and useless if it won't get used. It IS...that the first correspondence back to us was a letter of settlement for different customers from a different ship for THEIR bad service experience GOOD JOB! It IS... that you cared so little that you did not treat your MULTIPLE REPEAT CRUISE vacationers with Carnival as having any value in customer retention It IS... that you were given every opportunity to make this right with many correspondences and you did NOT It IS... that anyone planning a Carnival cruise should know it's a gamble with low odds as to whether it will be worth it or not. It IS... that this is the REALLY BAD review you...CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES deserve and is so disappointing to us!

I had a very good time on the Breeze this March. This was my first solo trip and it was great. I had an inside room on deck 8. This was my first inside cabin. I had plenty of space and tons of storage. It was plenty big for just 1 person. The bed was comfy and so were the pillows. The room steward was good. Not great but good. My only real gripe was I only got 1 towel animal left on my bed out of the 4 days. This was disappointing (such a trivial thing but it makes me happy lol ) as I look forward to them. The other thing has nothing to do with the cruise but with me. The interior room while nice and quiet was like a black hole. I literally had no perception of time of day due to complete blackness. However the plus side was no light, great sleep and the room stayed very cold all night . The port parking was easy, I always park at the Galveston port and try to always get express parking lot. I always opt to take my luggage with me and never to a porter. Embarkation was a Breeze. I had my passport and it was very quick. I got on the ship right after the platinum and diamond guests and dropped my suitcase at my room. I’m not much of a partier and since I was solo i was worried about getting lonely. This did not happen. I made friends wherever I went, had plenty of people to talk to and I could join in with activities as much as I wanted. The food wasn’t bad. I usually ate at the Buffett in the morning, grabbed a burger (of course) for lunch and had dinner in the dining room twice. Service all around was great. I think my final thought is this. Vacations are what you make them, especially cruising. The ship can not help rough seas or bad weather and having to miss a port. Keep an open mind while traveling. Things could always be worse, I mean you are on vacation which some people can not even afford to do. I always give grace to get Grace. Overall I had a great time, met some awesome people, had great service and relaxed.

If I could give it no stars I would vacation is supposed to be relaxing instead I need a vacation after this one our last stop got cancelled “due to weather” now we’re on the boat for 2 more days. At this point you couldn’t get me back on a cruise ship even if the drinks and WiFi were free.

WORST! Can't get any sleep with all the banging above our cabins. All the excursions are ruined due to 0 sleep. Customer service did nothing! Will be switching cruise lines.
