- Qamer_ZiaFrankfurt, Germany1 415 contributionsIt was a lovely experience but did not last long. There are two sections and total flight lasts for just about two minutes. Once first section is complete the flight for the second section starts from the same location and after the completion of second section you have to walk for about 5-10 minutes in order to reach the middle section of the cable car. From here you can either go up again to reach the starting point of Fantasticable or go down to reach the car parking area. As a whole it was a pretty unique experience but i will consider it costly as the flight time is very short.
The surrounding area at the top and at the middle section of the cable car is also nice to have a lovely walk around and the scenary is also great. You will also see many mountain bikers here. You can easily spend half to full day in this area.Written 27 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very strange that in the timeline they completely skipped the period of the second world war. There must have been smuggling of refugees to Switserland in this period of first Italian and then German occupation.Written 13 August 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nikola VChatel, France2 contributionsGreat place to chill and enjoy the magnificent view of the mountains. A lot of places to just sit around and read a book... and swim if you feel like it.Written 16 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. 2 lessons over 2 days - approx 5.5 hours and were coming down red slopes albeit slowly but managing by the second afternoon! They were delighted with their progress & only that we were already at the end of our weeks ski holiday they would have certainly continued with a few further improvement lessons! All Communication on details on times et al went via Martin and was spot on! The snowboard instructor had high expectations, was demanding and sometimes impatient with slow progress- despite this my kids had a great time and really progressed. They had fun in their group & would certainly sign themselves up with this company again!Written 19 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I’m an older beginner with not much confidence and had an awful experience with an ESF group ski lesson the year before that was supposed to be for complete beginners but was anything but, and was downright dangerous taking us on a steep icy blue on the second lesson.
Peter was patient and had some great tips and instruction. He guided me to a perfect slope for practicing my plough to parallel and it did my confidence the world of good.
If I return to Chatel I’ll definitely book in for more lessons with this ski school from day 1.Written 29 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. But snow arrived and Claude helped us fill in the gaps in our missing gear for both split-boarding and downhill. High quality gear for the price. Couldn't be more pleased.Written 5 December 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rupert P2 contributionsNo problems at all. Patrick was a very nice guy. Spoke English; all went to plan. Excellent resort. My son enjoyed himself.Written 28 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
