What travellers are saying
- Les4404United Kingdom93 contributionsWe really enjoyed our visit having never been before. Read the descriptions of the walks and decided upon the ‘green’ walk. This walk was described as easy-medium. I think it needs a caveat to say that although it’s not too long a walk in distance, there are some very tricky parts (steep and not easy underfoot) and that should be made clear for anyone setting off. I’m not sure that ‘easy’ is quite right….. as someone mentioned about the cafe, it was average with not the best choice. Berrington Hall nearby was better in my view.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Rachel R2 contributionsWe followed the Burway loop, it was quite steep in places but the views were amazing.
We did this walk in February, the weather was dry but quite windy, which was just right I wouldn’t fancy doing it if it was too hot!
The path in places was quite steep and abit slippy but the views are spectacular.Written 21 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was open for people to visit and stay a while to pray, reflect or merely to take in the beauty of each window ledge awash with fresh flowers. Just a beautiful, serene and welcoming church which is well worth a visit.Written 21 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - The Original Renegade MasterShrewsbury, UK138 contributionsHaving walked a few of the Stretton hills, I decided to give Ragleth a try. I’m so glad I did, park in central church Stretton and cross the A49. The initial climb is a bit steep but your soon at the top and enjoying the fabulous views. Then a steep decent and a lovely walk along bridleways and pathways back into the town.
Definitely recommend this walk, it’s a medium effort I’d sayWritten 25 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Nice walks which lead into open fields or you can sit on the banks of the stream and just enjoy nature at its best. The kids loved building dams, wild horses from the top of the long mynd came to visit and the sheep also came for a nose! Beautiful place to unwind and be stress free. Grew up in this area so childhood memories are precious.

Very peaceful (and warm!) on the bitterly cold day I visited, so it was nice to sit and gather my thoughts in the tranquil atmosphere.
The churchyard was full of snowdrops and crocuses, a welcome sign of spring approaching.
Make sure you look for the Sheela na Gig high on the North wall outside - rather worn, but her ahem, attitude, is unmistakeable.Written 5 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Then youve come to the right place.
No it isnt long in terms of yardage but you wont be looking to use the driver very often here. placement and accuracy is the name of the game.

- jcsbryRyton, UK79 contributionsA choir trip to rehearsals at Dudley Town Hall from Shrewsbury. Graham our driver was very punctual and got us to Dudley with plenty of time to spare. On the return he came to the door to meet us and escorted us to our lovely air conditioned coach. Much needed after singing with 600 people in a very hot Hall all day.
Would heartily recommend Boultons for a coach trip.Written 19 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
