Danilo was a great guide! He speaks English and told wonderful stories about things we were seeing. I enjoyed our visit a lot

A good 20 minute ride from center of Campos do Jordão, the Horto Florestal is a very popular and well maintained nature preserve.

There are several trails (5 or 6 if I recall correctly) and we chose the Trilha do Rio Sapucaí which is a moderate trail and estimated at 90 minutes of walking. We were lucky to have a beautiful day in mid July which made the hike quite pleasant. A nice thing to do to escape the hectic nature of Campos during the weekends.

It is a beautiful garden with many sculptures spread alongside the trail. You can stay from 30min to 2h there. It's a nice place to take pictures, drink a coffee and relax. Better go by car or by a private excursion. The entrance costs R$10. There is an auditorium where you can watch shows.

We are still here, quick word of warning, bring mosquito spray and plenty of it. Also fly spray.
Literally can’t fault the hotel or location or entertainment. The flies on the food have put me off. Been in room all day today due to upset stomach.

Apparently September is the worst month to come to Boa Vista, due to rain fall which then attracts the flies. Been taking all my food from the bottom of the serving dish, but unfortunately caught me in the end.

No local chemist so please ensure you bring supplies

We actually got to go in the sea yesterday due to green flag. Tried the previous day but the undercurrent (amber flag) was too strong for me

Did the full island tour on Sunday, was great to see some of the island, but also sad with the amount of poverty on Boa Vista.

I hope you enjoy your stay

It's a nice place to visit. Full of restaurants and a big variety of tastes. Different people and a sense of safety.

The ski lift going up is pretty scary if you look down and see your feet dangling above trees and streets, but the view from the top is worth it. Cool adventure.

It's a good place to go at the end of the day. There isn't many things to see in the place, but the Praying with Gregorian Choir at the dusk it's beautiful and touching.

Outstanding museum, with exceptional collection of “Xilogravura’s” from top artists, well managed by professor and author Antonio Costella. I’m so proud of my father’s Xilogravuras be part of this museum!

Adoramos fazer trilhas!! (It is a wooded, pleasent and well-kept site with free admission to trails, while tree climbing, zip lines and other activities for children and adults to enjoy are paid for. We made the trail and went to the Silver Shower because it was already getting dark. We delayed our script a title because there was a race going on and many streets were closed. It was already getting dark. We love to do trails!!)😅😅

Agradáveis cascatas artificiais, construídas pelas mãos humanas. Aberta à visitação turística gratuita. Você pode deslizar de tirolesa sobre as águas. (Nice artificial water falls, built by human hands. Open to free tourist visits. You can slid a zipline over the waters).

Cherry Park is a beautiful place for a picnic in August during cherry blossom season. The blossoms are spectacular and their fragrance fills the air with a wonderful bitter-sweet aroma.
