This castle houses some exquisite masterpieces which are not to be missed, including important collections of Renaissance art by Raphael, Titian, Piero Della Francesca and more. The castle has a chapel and several rooms, including the ‘Studiolo’, that reflect Duke Federico's interest in Classical and humanistic studies. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998, built for Duke Federico III da Montefeltro.

A short drive from Toscana, beautiful medieval town, a north place of Raffaello, his north house is here. Nice work in the old town, tasting some regional wines.

Very interesting to tour round the house to see how an important family lived in Urbino. Raphael’s father, Giovanni Santi, was court painter to the local ruling family.

Very close to Palazzo Ducale. Many fresco are probably covered for protection, a couple of chapels show the beauty of the past.

My family and I visited for a wine tasting this July. We had a wonderful time!! The guide was friendly, Knowledgeable and fun, he took us around the vineyard, barrique room and explained the whole process to us.
He then proceeded to serve us at least 8 wines between sparkling, roses, whites, reds and dessert wines. We laughed, we drank, we ate amazing appetizers between wines. Their pets were so much fun. We would totally come again and recommend anyone to go. The wines were amazing as well!

We were led to believe that this oratorio was not with visiting but that couldn't be further than the truth. There is a combined ticket for the two oratorios about 100 feet apart and I recommend visiting both. The fresco in here was absolutely breathtaking

The fortress is named after the Spanish cardinal Gil Alvarez Carillo de Albornoz. However, the fortress was built by his successor Angelico Grimoard in 1367-1371. Injustice happens often in history. Fortress is not important for tourists because of the military component. The fortress is located at the highest point -485 meters and the best views of Urbino open from here. So arriving in Urbino we turned left and immediately went here.
