- Gervin38Island of Malta, Malta39 contributionsThis castle houses some exquisite masterpieces which are not to be missed, including important collections of Renaissance art by Raphael, Titian, Piero Della Francesca and more. The castle has a chapel and several rooms, including the ‘Studiolo’, that reflect Duke Federico's interest in Classical and humanistic studies. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998, built for Duke Federico III da Montefeltro.Written 15 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ady392Los Angeles, CA228 contributionsMy family and I visited for a wine tasting this July. We had a wonderful time!! The guide was friendly, Knowledgeable and fun, he took us around the vineyard, barrique room and explained the whole process to us.
He then proceeded to serve us at least 8 wines between sparkling, roses, whites, reds and dessert wines. We laughed, we drank, we ate amazing appetizers between wines. Their pets were so much fun. We would totally come again and recommend anyone to go. The wines were amazing as well!Written 10 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alan TIthaca, NY50 contributionsWe were led to believe that this oratorio was not with visiting but that couldn't be further than the truth. There is a combined ticket for the two oratorios about 100 feet apart and I recommend visiting both. The fresco in here was absolutely breathtakingWritten 17 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - VadimMurmansk, Russia26 794 contributionsThe fortress is named after the Spanish cardinal Gil Alvarez Carillo de Albornoz. However, the fortress was built by his successor Angelico Grimoard in 1367-1371. Injustice happens often in history. Fortress is not important for tourists because of the military component. The fortress is located at the highest point -485 meters and the best views of Urbino open from here. So arriving in Urbino we turned left and immediately went here.Written 30 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
