The bridge is absolutely spectacular. A great opportunity to take photos of the Pescara coastline. Well worth either a walk or bike ride over.

Excellent museum giving a real insight in to history and life in Abruzzo.
Entrance fee was 5e for senior citizens with a very good free audio in English using your own phone. Very worthwhile

You'll stroll around the small noble house where the poet was born. He wrote about it in one of his poems, describing the rooms and his feelings and the citations (Italian only!) are printed and placed in the rooms. What makes it's worth a visit is a very moderate price and a possibility to see what a noble's house of the end of the 19th century looked like: with all original furniture.

Pescara is the perfect size for a weekend excursion. Loads of good cafés and restaurants and great shopping! Beaches are beautiful and skiing is only 100 km away in the mountains.

Wide boulevard with nice shops and many restaurants and bars in the side streets. The street ends at La Fontana Nave di Cascella.

We were overjoyed to find this beautiful work of art so near the sea. We enjoyed the various shapes within the overall structure.

From entrance to exit this is one truly amazing collection of precious unbelievable ceramics and a show of artist
Pasquale Celommi. Celommi painted fish and fabrics like nothing I have ever seen.

The church is simple, the only really interesting thing to see is the figure of a madonna with swords piercing her heart. Very touching to see devotees kneel and pray before this statue
