Really enjoyed our tour mainly due to James our tour guide, he was knowledgeable and really funny the sort of guy who would be great on a night out!
It's well worth a visit as interesting and educational x

I really enjoyed my experience all was fab but one thing that really wasn’t on that the model of the stadium was not Plainmoor which is such a shame when Torquay are in trouble. Paignton zoo was mentioned yet the stadium was given a Wembley knock off name when it should have promoted the towns own stadium.

In the TV and film section it would have be great to see a Fawlty Towers display. Bit of fun and also recognising the Torquay connection.

This for me let down the experience. However I am given 5* as was enjoyable hour spent.

We really enjoyed all aspects of our visit. There were 'rooms' of a house to visit first, then the shops in the recreated street, then the railway and war areas. We also used the on site cafe and gift shop which were authentic also. You really need time to examine all the many objects in each display to get the 'full' experience. The only negative we could come up with was, there was only one toilet, luckily we visited when the museum was almost empty. We parked on a nearby street so did not have to worry about car park charges. Would recommend a visit.

Cockington village is as quaint as it gets. Whilst very small, it has a lovely collection of thatched buildings, including a tea house, shops and an old blacksmith's which is now converted to a gift shop.

Just up from the village centre there is a craft village and church and we chose to take a walk on the circular country walk, which gave us a lovely hour or two in the countryside.

Finishing off with a cream tea in the tea house, this is a perfect place for a few hours in the English countryside.

I would really advise a visit. We stayed for over 2 hours and could have stayed longer. Most interesting House and the gardens were kept to a very high standard. The only problem we had was trying to find the Car Park

    Fantastic afternoon out.
So much to see, took us 3 and a half hours with an excited 8 year old.
Crazy golf included and the mystical forest is a great addition.
Go round at your own pace and you'll really enjoy it.
Council owned car park next door is busy, but spaces available if you're prepared to look. There are other car parks nearby

They have some cool stuff here! Lucky enough to be given the tour on my own on a quiet winters day. Highly recommended for a couple of hours of dinosaurs, fossils and interesting stuff.

Beautiful olde world village with some really lovely cottages. Good sized car park within a short walk of both the village tea rooms and the Drum pub which was a delight to visit with extensive outside seating and a large area for children and dogs to run around in.Visited on a Sunday so buses from torquay centre ran every 20 minutes. Walked into the village along the road but walked back along the fairly flat path through the nature reserve.
Did not get to see in the cockington visitor centre as it was not open Aretha time ofvour visit.

The museum is worth a visit. The exhibitions are an eclectic group but all in all very interesting.

Great location on Torquay seafront. Reasonably priced multi storey car park nearby (on the road towards harbour) friendly staff and nice bars. Camden ale on tap (great)
Good views inside (we were in the stalls) and good acoustics. There for a matinee and tickets very reasonable (less than £20)
All in all a good experience
