It is often hard to see an elusive cheetah in the wild. This facility sheds light on these magnificent creatures it is also surprising to see how intelligent they are when responding to human commands.

There is also an opportunity to see how you, and African wild dogs up close which was fascinating.

Beautiful birthday experience. We visited on my birthday and was very special more so because my ticket was free. Weather was clear and perfect to take in the views. At the top you can enjoy a meal with a view, enjoy some quiet time to reflect or the business at the bar. Everywhere is maintained and so clean and neat. Definitely worth a visit at least once and such a quick scenic drive from. Pretoria or Jhb

Our guide was knowledgeable and funny! Very interesting few hours learning about the monkey sanctuary and a wonderful walk through the enclosure!

It’s a beatiful drive out there no matter where you are coming from since the nature in that whole area is gorgeous. There is unfortunately quite a bit of garbage by the lake and around the dam but the dam itself is beautiful and quite clean.
There were swallows zooming around in the air and there is a freshness due to the water. The dam itself looks a bit like a smaller version of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, though it is obviously not as old, nor as large! The river is called Crocodile River, there are rapids and several waterfalls, the scenery was very beautiful. I was glad we drove out there! The dam was pretty too, with green lines of algae, that made stripes on the the dam where the water ran down.
The dam is quite large and nice to walk over. It’s worth a visit.

A quick walkthrough, but the kids liked it. Didn't keep them busy for super long but it caught their interest.

A must visit. The owners are welcoming and very accommodating, ordered gin and rum to be shipped home in Durban, no problem and it arrived on the Tuesday after ordering on the Saturday. The product is very good and we had a great time. We'll done.

Plenty of plants with helpful and informative staff walking around! Very clean and well kept. I went with my nephews and they really enjoyed playing in nature - a great way to get them off of their iPads

A gem hidden off the main beat. But take sunblock as it gets hot. Filled with antiques and nostalgia. Test the kids if they would know how to use and old phone. Your ticket includes a movie in the old movie hall. Make plans to eat at the Diner - with a simple menu. A take loads of pics as your circle around the movie set from the 50’s. A very clever idea making it a tourist attraction and a great location for fun pics for pre wedding or bridal showers etc.

Younger kiddies do get a bit board but that’s where the creativity comes in which pics you can take with various cut outs or accessible antiques.

Went mid week so no Market. It is an interesting place with space to wander around in the gardens, restaurants (the Windmill is nice) and the shops were very interesting.

There is an amazing book shop with the most incredible books for children op the top floor and a nice shop on the ground floor selling bits and pieces for the home plus gifts like candles and throw pillows. Nice variety and the proces are not exorbitant.

The highlight is the grocery store though. Nice fruit and veg nicely displayed. Meat and cheese areas, imported biscuits and chocolates. Bring a coolbag and do your weekly shop here!
