This is the place to visit on the square, the drinks are unique and special ( blood orange gin is Devine) and the menu is a blend of lovely food and quirks of local!
The pulled pork and Oxtail meals are special and very tasty!
You just cannot miss a visit here

The place has quality items. Hubby bought a few t-shirts, the wording is completely hilarious. I love our time with the engaging shop owner.

Well worth a visit. A good selection of art both locally and more widely spread.
Great variety of goods in the delicatessen section. A fun place to visit.

We popped into this new spot and were pleasantly surprised with the fine art and selection of wines. We bought wine here. A must visit.

The Titanic Rock is an amazing rock formation with beautiful colours. It can be well viewed from the restaurant at the hotel whilst having a good cup of coffee and scone, as well.

This is a fancy place. They sell the type of art the NEW YORK Met Gallery sells. Paintings that tells a story mere mortals like me won't get.

Wonderful conservancy, well marked trails, no litter, saw security around the dam area Spectacular views once high above the village .Lots of wild flowers, alien eradication along the river in town . What an asset to this delightful town

Beautiful gallery. But the coffee shop 😱 oh the goodness of the food! It’s simple and delicious and they cater for vegans and vegetarians!! That’s a huge thing in a farming area. Absolutely worth a stop and visit please stay and eat there. Good wholesome food, great service, bonus super friendly hostess _ Lientjie

We had such a great time at this event! People came from across the country. We met some amazing festival goers, made new friends and really looking forward to 2020

Nice and challenging from Hole 1. Great experience from booking to personal cart delivery at my car. Round this off with the Springbok, including a rare white one, roaming the course and trout for lunch and you know it's a special place.

A little gem in the Free State. Amazing restaurants and coffee cafe. We had dinner at Gosto and it was amazing. Great service, great food and a lovely setting.
The next day we had dinner at Clementines and it was also amazing.
The Coffee Roastery served great coffee and the croissants tasted like they came straight from Paris.
The Baris Monger cheese farm did not disappoint.
We hiked the entire breadth of the Titanic mountain and surroundings. So well demarcated, clean and a refreshing experience.
We stayed 2 nights at the Mon D'or Hotel Whilst the hotel rooms appeared to be confusingly located, the place was clean, the staff were friendly and attended to our needs.
A very safe town, friendly people. Will definitely go there again and again!

This six day camino goes through fields and cross mountains. The last two days we walked along the Caledon river with Lesotho and the Maluti Mountains on the other side of the river. Accommodation along the way was pre-booked by Renee at lovely lodges and farm stays. Each place was awesome in its own right. We were treated with home cooked meals. Our guide Craig made the walk interesting and challenging!

A very disappointing experience. Met by a friendly lady who said there was no recovery available should we get stuck. Fair enough I said. What she didn't tell us is that the trail had not been deiven in 4 weeks and 4 weeks earlier a group had gotten stuck at the river crossing and needed to be towed out. They had created a donga so deep you couldn't get past. The owners had made no effort to repair this donga, fill it stones or make the area passable. Needless to say, it is was right at the beginning of the route, not even 500m in. I was in no mood to be stuck there for the day and ruin my holiday so we reversed out after having spent only 15mins on the route feeling a bit cheated out of the R250 fee which we had to pay.The friendly lady had already left for the day and nowhere to be found to provide feedback. We will sadly not be going back or recommending it to anyone we know.
