This place is amazing. Magnificent and so much fun. 3 km of stunning falls. We were there for hours w our children and grandchildren. I think I had the most fun of all! The water is cold but refreshingly so. There were many people there but because it was so huge, there is never a sense of too crowded. A few tips: start from the southern end, by the large falls. It is super fun and you start off on a high. There is a paid parking lot opposite the entrance. The trail itself is free! If possible, come with 2 cars- one parked on either end of the trail. Otherwise you have to do the trail 2x to get back to your car. My kids carried their one year old in a baby carrier. No possibility for strollers! Bring water shoes and walking shoes, unless your water shoes are good enough for walking. Bring towels to sit on as the ground is pretty muddy. The entire trail is in the shade. When you cross the river- at numerous points - you will be walking across rocky surfaces. Good balance is essential. Enjoy every minute. You will not want to leave!!

We hit 40 degrees on our second day here and we wanted to go to see this little jewel. We parked at the small church where it was just 500 meters down to the water. The place is a little slice of heaven, many small rapids and water so clear you can see small fishes darting left and right. Now, it’s cold to get in and because it’s a river, there are some steep drops and very sharp rocks, so be careful!

Porta Volterrana is one of the gates to enter in the old town of Colle di Val d'Elsa, a town in Tuscany Region, in the center of Italy. It is the main gate o enter and probably the most beautiful one. It was built at the end of 15th Century in a Renaissance style. Very nice.

Colle di Val d'Elsa is a typical Tuscan hill town with a well-preserved charming center. No spectacular sights, but very harmonious.

Good find. Only people there and up close with all the exhibits often in touching range which was great. 3 floors of artefacts. Fab

The combination of steps, right angle entrance, and small courtyard in front, make for an unusual entrance to a church from 1183.

With signage on the main walking road, this museum is a good chance to learn about premium crystal history and production, with wording in several languages.
