We had to visit this landmark as Kos is the birthplace of Hippocrates. This is a beautiful statue which is easy to access from the harbour.

One of the leaders of the Greek independence against the Ottoman Empire - a national hero in Greece. You may drive past or walk past without giving the statue a look, but at least you should acknowledge his presence

Although called Dolphin Square it is used as a roundabout on a busy road along the harbour front.

It is a small fountain which is painted blue and white, with 3 dolphin figures inside all surrounded by white wrought iron railings.

Not easy to get up close to due to the volume of traffic.

If passing have a quick look, not something to make a special journey to visit.

Took longer to write the review than spent viewing the fountain
