Great experience. We were in a small group of 5 for the Educational hour and it was really lovely, especially as we had some time to sit on the terrace overlooking the beautiful waterhole and surroundings beforehand. I was a little concerned that it could be 'circus' like , with the animals having been taught 'tricks', but it just managed to stay within the boundaries.
The only downside is the cost of transport to get there. 350 Rand per person, payable in cash only, for a relatively short return trip to our Lodge.

A well kept, clean, park with happy and very well looked after animals. The spaces are big enough for the animals to be in their own habitat as much as possible. It is clear that many of these animals would have died in the wild, in this park they have the chance to grow old gracefully and as happy as can be.
We were shown around by enthusiastic staff who were knowledgeable and respectful of the animals. An amazing place, well worth a visit and don’t forget to donate once you’ve been!

We spent a tranquil week surrounded by wildlife. We did not see any of the Big 5, but nonetheless we were happy with what we saw. Ingwe Camp is well run, with very friendly, helpful staff.

I personally wouldn’t take children under 8 to Ingwe. The units are in the bush with no flat areas for kids to play. Warthogs are in abundance so I wouldn’t allow kids to venture beyond the unit. There are, however, 2 swimming pools (one heated) and a large play area behind reception.

The loft units have a very steep incline access path so we requested a porter to carry our bags. Also note that the bathroom is on the ground floor and the bedroom in the loft. Trips to the toilet at night could be hazardous!

All in all we had a great time. Frans took us on an informative game drive where we saw giraffe, zebra and nyala.

    Wonderful experience !!!
We booked the vehicle for a game drive as friends. Staff were friendly and provided a lot of interesting information during the ride. Even the 11 year olds listened attentively during the 2 hour ride.
The animals are very well cared for !!!

Feracare Wildlife Centre is a great place in Bela Bela as a stopover. The accomodations are clean and spacious. Have your breakfast while enjoying the beautiful scenery of this place.

Feracare is one of the leading wildlife centres with the expertise in rehabilitating cheetahs and other wildlife back into the wild.
During your stay you can experience several activities such as feeding cheetahs, cheetah run and do a wildlife tour in the reserve.

Every time is coming home far away from home.

Very informative tour. I'm so pleased it was not a zoo, and they genuinely rehabilitate the animals. It would be nice to see larger enclosures for the creatures that can not be rehabilitated.

What I love the most about this venue are the kiddies play area. There is jumping castles and mud pools; trampolines, so that is very great! Kids can't sit stil.
The food however, i'm sorry was not amazing. We ordered ribs and they tasted ... yesterdayish. They were not tender. And then.. the chips are like home made chips, like Lays crisps. Not filling, not for my 2 year old son.

A peaceful sanctuary where broken Vervet monkey hearts are lovingly rehabilitated towards a second chance at freedom. Definitely worth your visit and support!
