Lovely lighthouse but was not open to viewing which was a disappointment. Well kept and position on a great beach. Nice to visit, parking available as its within a private housing estate. Spent no more then 30 minutes here mainly due to walking on the beach.

This is an amazing piece of beach to walk along , km upon km with plenty of bird life along the way including the usual suspects sea gulls & we managed to see some Oyster Catchers with their bright orange eyes , beaks & feet , was amazing. There is also plenty of place to swim & collect shells in certain parts closer to the Shelley Point Hotel. Also took some amazing sunset pics along this beach. There are a few benches along the way to rest. Nice & clean to.

Unfortunately not well sign posted nor easy to get to due to the ongoing construction at the moment. For historians it should be made more prominent. Lovely place to visit and would love to see an improvement in displaying the historical landmarks

This hotel on the West Coast is running a 30% off special price at the moment and we booked 2 rooms.

The hotel overall is well maintained and we found the decor quite charming. The rooms were clean and tastefully furnished, though I did find the drapings over the beds a tad irritating.

The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

We booked the hydro spa and had a lovely time there, although the "heated" pool and jacuzzi were too cold.

Breakfast was included, which was in the restaurant on the first floor. We had a disabled person in our group and he struggled to go up the stairs. Maybe management should mention on their website that there are no elevators.

Besides the few hiccups we had a lovely time, but the young man in our group found that there were too little activities.

An absolutely fabulous spot on the beach which is long and empty. Will hurry back to two houses in one beautifully appointed house. In my opinion it's not to be missed
