Incredible experience! Must do if you have time for an excursion. I had tour guide Josué. He was so friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and fun.. On top of getting to climb a volcano and eating a delicious meal by a lake while the others jet skied, Josué told us so much about the history of the country and interesting things about the healthcare, education, and green energy that El Salvador is using. I was truly mind blown. He also took such good photos of everyone on the tour and showed us so many colorful birds along the trek using audio from a bird app he has! I highly recommend him and the tour. You get more than you are paying for!

Traveling during the rainy season can definitely be hit or miss, but the weather cooperated the entire day giving us beautiful views of the volcanoes and ruins. The trip ended up being all solo travelers which was a great experience and we got to connect over lunch. Cerro Verde national park is gorgeous and I really enjoyed the San Andres Mayan ruins. Our guide, Alfredo, was incredibly knowledgeable and brought along examples of everything he was talking about. Highly recommend!

Adonis, the tour guide was very informative, friendly, and helpful throughout the tour. He was able to speak in English and Spanish. The tour itself is a full day tour, we stopped for drinks and food, however, you may want to take some sun block and other outdoor gear for this tour. I definitely recommend it, Adonis is a wealth of information! The driver was friendly as well

Osmaro was the best tour guide! He was very patient and accommodating especially with the pick up and drop off. Made sure everyone was safe throughout the tour.

This was a GREAT tour! My best friend and I spent 3 days in El Salvador over a holiday weekend and wanted to see as much as we could while we were there. Our first night, our plans for Saturday fell through. Literally less than 12 hours before we were supposed to be picked up. Not only was I able to book with EC, but they responded on WhatsApp to confirm within an hour. Excellent and fast customer service.
Ricardo was our guide and he was excellent. Funny guy, super knowledgeable, told us about the history as well as general life and culture in El Salvador. The ruins were incredible and we learned so much! Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the volcano because of weather (it was so foggy!) but we still had a great time.
We did another EC tour the next day and that was also great. I recommend this company for tours, and I really enjoyed Ricardo as our guide.

I never went to the Mayan ruins, surf city, the lakes were already mentioned in previous reviews. These locations were not listed separately. The Santa ana volcano is a must see location and you can take a tour and climb the side of the volcano. When you reach the summit, you get a breathtaking view of the iake inside of this active volcano. It takes around 2 hours each way for this hike and a tour guide is required for around $50 per person. You also have to a pay a small park fee, as well. This may seem like a lot of money, but can you imagine doing this hike on a daily basis as your job in all types of weather conditions.
Lake Coatepeche is probably the most popular lake in all of ES. I could not believe all of the muliti million-dollar homes with their luxury boats on their private piers. There are a lot of nice restaurants to eat or small kiosk syle food locations, as well. I enjoyed going to this one restaurant that had a couple locations where you can swim within the complex. There is a kids swimming pool and a good place to take your family. You also must pull over on the side of the road and get a overall scenic photo of the entire lake at the summit. Once again, my favorite part of the visit was taking another scenic boat ride that only cost $25 for 2 people and I left at $6 tip here. The entire location is so beautiful, very clean, safe, inexpensive and a great place for some rest and relaxation.

Roberto was an amazing guide - so knowledgeable about the history and culture of his country! Also perfect English and a safe driver. Most of all, we made a great friend and really enjoyed our day. Restaurant in the volcano crater was awesome. 100 percent recommended.

It was an great tour with one of the best sunrises I saw. The view was amazing! Our guide was really kind and explained us everything about the history and other volcanos around and the coffee plantage. It was the birthday of one of the group members, the guide stopped at a market to take a cake for her. That’s was really nice from him! I can recommend this tour.

We had an amazing time on our tour of Santa Ana Volcano! We had a good driver who was right on time. We don’t speak Spanish so they requested a guide that speaks English so we were able to learn about the natural park. The lake was beautiful and the water was warm. Great experience would recommend to others!

Miguel was an excellent guide, thoughtful and informative, not only about Mayan culture and history, but also about more current histories of indigenous people in El Salvador. Joya de Cerén was fascinating as the "Pompeii" of the Maya, and Miguel took enough time explaining the site to us. We also enjoyed the other two Mayan sites San Andres and Tazumal as well as a scenic lunch overlooking the lake in Caldera De Coatepequ before heading back to our hotel. Our drive Julio was very smooth and careful. AA+++

During our stay in El Salvador, we wanted to explore other parts of the country and Tunco Life was recommended. In the end, our experience was more than we could have hoped for. We were picked up from where we were staying, driven to the volcano in comfort, and provided with all the interesting facts about the hike. Salva - our guide - took us to the top of the volcano, told us about its history, and simply made our experience more authentic and fun. After a 3 hour hike we went to the local restaurant for pupusas. I can't wait to come back and explore the rest of the country with Salva and the rest of the team. Thank you so much! <3
