Excellent Historical Site For Learning About America's Civil War - Great Museum and Battlefield Exhibits

Stop and visit Stones River National Cemetery and perhaps as you visit the site, do a little self inventory of your own life goals and commitments.
The Cemetery is on one end and Canonsburg on the other with awesome views of the Stones River along the way.

The grounds are kept very clean, there is a museum within, and at the Art League Studio you can view local artist's renderings as well as talk to the members while they work on their art creations.
As a historic landmark, it has very well thought out and detailed exhibits: the blacksmith shop, weaver's house, telephone operator's house, general store etc.

Easy parking and nice walking trails take you on a tour of this historic Civil War site.
If I didn't know it was a Civil War landmark, I'd go anyway for the trails and peace.
