The magic show was awesome, great performance, very professional, the food was delicious, overall an awsome way to spend an evening.
Once the show starts, you’ll be amazed how they’ve been able to bring Vegas style illlusions on an intimate stage, with a few corny jokes to keep the kids entertained.

Jackie Chan shot a scene in the theater section of the garden for his film “The Big Brawl.”
But the Tea Garden is also famous for the outdoor concerts that take place there.

But the best part was the theater itself, the seats are roomy and comfortable, there is plenty of leg room, easy access to the restrooms, and wonder of wonder, the ladies room is huge and can handle the crowd.
There is a wide variety of shows throughout the year from the San Antonio Symphony to Broadway shows and musicians.

The Magik Theater in downtown San Antonio is a wonderful way to introduce children to live theater.
The ooohs, and ahhs and contagious laughter the children let out from watching the shows, makes it all worth it.

This was my first visit to the Woodlawn Theater set in the Deco District of San Antonio which has been restored to its 1940's era glory and now home to community theater productions.
Broadway shows are now playing at this theater.
