Loved visiting this historical site. What a quirky house of secrets and stories. Makes me want to reread the book. Geoffrey was a good tour guide and had a great sense of humor.

Not enough time in a day to see everything. The great animal orchestra is an absolute must see. Incredibly informative and unique. The Yin Yu Tang home is a step back in time. The home is spectacularly preserved. The Marie Watt and Cannupa Hanska Luger exhibit was excellent, emotional and powerful images.

Such an amazing experience. The cemetery has such a serene feel to it. Seeing the graves and understanding the time that has lapsed since these people were laid to rest.

The memorial seems to be simple, but it's poignant. There is a stone shelf in front of each name where people leave flowers, coins and other tokens to show that the people killed by ignorance haven't been forgotten.

What a fun way to travel between Salem and Boston! We usually take the train to make the trip, but decided to give the ferry a try. It was well worth the cost and was the most enjoyable trip between the two cities that we've ever had.

I found this house to be so fascinating. I loved how there were many different rooms to go in and out of, and descriptions of everything. It was a self guided tour. I took off one star because there was no public restroom which I think is silly if you are a paying customer you should have access to a restroom during your visit.

My husband & I booked on to the last tour of the day as we were traveling from Maine & didn’t want to be late (the website is clear about not refunding tickets or changing times). We got there early and were allowed in the gift shop as this would be closed after the tour. Both parts of the tour were interesting & told the story of the people involved in this area, as well as the poignant reminder of how relevant this history is today. Unfortunately, we were not able to read the timeline in full as a guide told us the museum was closing so we had to leave at 5.35pm. I had expected the tour to last until 6pm as that is what is on the ticket, so was a bit annoyed that we were expected to pay full price but got half the time.

It’s cute. It’s free. It’s public. It’s centrally located. It’s fun to take pictures with. What’s not to like? No need to go out of your way to see it, but if you’re into the show, it’s worth a peek!

It was an interesting go at your own pace type of exhibit. There were a lot great things to see. It was a wonderful interactive exhibit for all groups. (Singles, couples, families) The location was very central to everything.

Brought my daughter here to visit while in Salem while on vacation. The tour is short and a little silly but the actors seemed to be having a good time which was entertaining.

I loved sitting at the wharf and looking at the Friendship of Salem replica. I could've sat there all day with my coffee!

Wonderful historical area. Be sure to visit the area across the street and the houses. There is a beautiful garden area behind one house and more historical markers explaining other houses and their use during colonial times. There is even the building where they would weigh the goods. We visited in April and could not go on the ship. We walked around while visiting 7 gables area. Such a beautiful town to walk around in. Love that so many houses have plaques stating original owners and who they were/their jobs.

We visited in the first week of May so they were still getting ready to plant which was fine. It was still very beautiful and the pond was very serene. I would love to have a garden like that. So many ideas.

This park is just the right size for a nice walk by the water without being overtaken by crowds. The Clam Shack has great food, we actually went there twice on our trip. The little accompanying beach is very nice as well.

If you weren't looking for it, you could totally miss it. We went around dusk, but the memorial is lighted. It's similar to the Witch Memorial, but there aren't the stone shelves. It appears that people still leave tokens on top of the wall above the names. There doesn't seem to be much street parking by it, so we parked at the Walgreens just down the road.
