- BoneplateKnoxville, TN84 contributionsWe were under the impression that a lot more of the game of thrones was filmed there. In fact only 4 days were filmed there and only a few scenes. There was a nice visit to the rest of the castle and lunch on your own with very large portions. She is very knowledgeable about the history of things and it was fun from the time we left Valencia to our arrival in Peniscola. The “Game of Thrones “ castle is amazing! - jules_forevaKent, UK372 contributionsGreat day trip out to Morella and Peñíscola, very good comms from company and the tour guide was prompt, very friendly, knew his stuff and was a brilliant experience. Only small negative was the amount of free time in Morella for lunch so think if a slightly longer time was permitted there, even if it means a slightly longer day, I think that would be better as lunch was very rushed as free time also covered the castle. Definitely recommend the tour company.
